Clinical Neuroscience

HKSH Clinical Neuroscience Centre works in close collaboration with psychiatry and mental health professionals to provide integrated assessment and care for patients who present with both neurological conditions and psychiatric or psychological symptoms. Many patients with epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke or cognitive disorders experience anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance or other mood and behavioural changes; by bringing together neurologists, psychiatrists and clinical psychologists, the Centre offers a coordinated, patient-centred approach that addresses both brain and mental health needs, enabling more holistic diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation planning.
