Podiatry is an important medical specialty because it addresses the health and functionality of the feet, ankles and lower limbs, all of which are critical for mobility and overall quality of life.

Our podiatry service is the first to be offered in a private hospital setting in Hong Kong. Through our full time in-house inpatient and outpatient podiatry services, we look after the health of people's feet by diagnosing, treating and preventing foot problems and by educating the public about the need for good foot health.

We offer an extensive range of podiatric treatments to care for the health of your foot. Apart from basic nail care and debridement of callus/corn, we also provide cryosurgery, apply topical medications and carry out procedures under local anaesthetic.

In the management of complex high risk foot conditions (e.g. diabetic foot), our podiatrists provide wound care and screen for complications, including vascular examinations and neurological assessments of the lower limb.

Our podiatrists also conduct biomechanical assessments and observe your walking pattern (gait analysis) to better understand your foot problems related to your lower limb structure. They will also prescribe specific exercises, physical therapy, functional foot orthosis and related appliances to help you to resolve your foot problems.

Our facilities include a plantar foot pressure gait analysis system and foot 3D scanning equipment. These support gait analysis and enable us to design and manufacture tailor-made insoles for patients with foot problems related to walking, sports or foot joint deformity and foot pain.
