Observation Bay

Observation Bay

The observation bay is designated for close monitoring of patients, including those who have undergone long and complex operations, experienced excessive blood loss during surgery, are of advanced age and prone to postoperative complications, or have clinical conditions requiring close observation. With a nurse-patient ratio of 1:2, patients admitted to the ward are continuously closely monitored for vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen concentration, etc. After 24 to 48 hours, patients are expected to be transferred to the requested wards when clinically stable.
