Electrodiagnosis Examination
Our Electrodiagnosis Laboratory is the only laboratory in Hong Kong where all electrodiagnostic tests are conducted exclusively by an Electrodiagnostic Medicine Specialist. Our expert is certified by both the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the Canadian Society of Clinical Electrophysiologists, and adheres to the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine Practice Guidelines.
The laboratory offers a comprehensive range of examinations, including nerve conduction studies, neuromuscular junction studies and needle electromyography. These tests are critical for diagnosing various peripheral nerve and muscle disorders.
Our expertise covers conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral nerve entrapments, radiculopathy, plexopathy, peripheral nerve injuries, facial nerve palsy, diabetic and other neuropathies, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, progressive muscular atrophy, polymyositis and other myopathies, as well as disorders such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome.
