Annual glaucoma screening
Anyone with risk factors for glaucoma should arrange glaucoma screenings on a yearly basis. Risk factors include having blood relations with glaucoma, high myopia, high hyperopia, migraine, sleep apnoea, diabetic mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, Raynaud’s disease or peripheral vascular disease. The screening includes an eye pressure measurement, optic nerve and fundal examination, as well as screening for common eye disease.
