Early Detection of Liver and Digestive Diseases Saves Lives

Because symptoms are often undetectable, regular check-ups are essential

Gastrointestinal and liver disorders are becoming increasingly common in Hong Kong today. These include gastrointestinal disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Colorectal Cancer, now the second commonest cancer in Hong Kong. Liver diseases, particularly Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), are also on the rise, especially among those struggling with obesity.

Staffed by highly qualified doctors and experienced nurses, the HKSH Gastroenterology & Hepatology Centre offers a broad range of medical services for patients with gastrointestinal and liver ailments. Our services include clinical diagnosis, specialised laboratory tests, endoscopy and a full range of investigations and disease management. We utilise state-of-the-art equipment and make the patient experience and safety a top priority.
