Postpartum nutrition is very important for both you and your baby. The first three months after delivery are often referred to as the “fourth trimester”, and proper nutrition during this period is essential for all new mothers, regardless of the mode of delivery.
Our catering menu offers a variety of nutritious meal packages specially designed for new mothers. Our menu features selections “Recommended by Dietitian” and helpful notes, including foods “To be avoided before the establishment of milk supply”, to help mothers make more suitable dietary choices.
In addition, we offer traditional Chinese nourishing soup sets, such as grass carp fish soup with lean pork, chicken soup, and fried rice tea etc. These are tailored to the dietary needs of mothers recovering from childbirth or caesarean section, as well as those preparing for breastfeeding.
In HKSH, we provide dietary consultation services for antenatal, postpartum, breastfeeding and infant nutrition. Registered Dietitian with International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) credential could be arranged.
