HKSH Caring Friends

HKSH Caring Friends organise volunteer programmes to cultivate a caring community for the elderly and needy groups. One of the key initiatives is the HKSH Elderly Home Visit Programme, organised in partnership with HKSKH Holy Nativity Church Neighbourhood (HKSKH). Volunteers visit elderly particularly singleton/hidden elders in Shau Kei Wan once every two-month. Some of them are patients of stroke, cancer, Parkinson’s disease or dementia. We also sponsor HKSKH’s “Care for Elderly” programme, supporting and co-oragnising various activities to assist caregivers in the community. Besides, Caring Friends regularly deliver health talks to impart care and attention.
