Dr. TSAO Yen Chow, Chief Clinical Officer of HKSH Medical Group and Deputy Medical Superintendent of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, shared in an interview about his half-a-century journey serving patients at HKSH.

Before joining HKSH, Dr. TSAO was a paediatrician-cum-researcher in the UK, and contributed to the establishment of the Department of Paediatrics of HKU in the 1960s. Dr. TSAO believed that elevating the standard of the Hospital's laboratory could attract talents with research interests and capabilities. With his support and encouragement, HKSH's Department of Pathology is now housed with over a dozen of medical technologists with advanced postgraduate degrees and more than 100 staff members, enabling HKSH to collaborate with universities in a wide range of robust and clinical researches.
