HKSH Centenary Theme Song Composition Contest

For HKSH Centenary Theme Song Composition Contest, the pieces of music composed and submitted by HKSH staff members took on a variety of style but all exemplified the HKSH spirit of Quality in Service, Excellence in Care. The judging panel was formed by members of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital including Dr. Joseph CHAN, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Raymond LIANG, Assistant Medical Superintendent, Ms. Cynthia HUIE-ROSE, Matron, Dr. Angus CHAN, Director of HKSH Surgery Centre, Dr. YU Chung Ping, Director of HKSH Neurosurgery Centre, Dr. CHAN See Ching, Specialist in Surgery and Dr. Axel HSU, Specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The winning pieces were selected based on the melody, lyrics, and overall quality such as concept, relevance to the theme, and degree of matching lyrics to the melody. The final performance and prize presentation of HKSH Centenary Theme Song Composition Contest was held on 16 December 2022.
