Our Service
Healthy Child Programmes
We offer comprehensive Healthy Child Programmes for children from 0-6 years old. The Programmes include vaccinations, regular health assessment, laboratory tests, ultrasound examinations, physical and intelligence assessments, seminars and hotline consultation.


Child Development and Assessment Clinic
The clinic is specially set up by a developmental paediatrician to provide detailed assessment and advice on children with suspected developmental or behavioural problems. Parents who have any worries on their child's development can directly book an appointment for a comprehensive assessment to clarify their worries and facilitate early intervention.

Range of problems
• Behavioural and emotional difficulties - temper tantrums, hyperactivity, inattention
• Sleep and feeding difficulties
• Social and communication difficulties - suspected autistic features
• Language delay
• Learning problem
• Reading and writing problem
• Visual impairment
• Hearing impairment
• Motor delay or clumsiness
• Suspected gifted child

Services provided
1. Comprehensive evaluation of the child using appropriate standardized test scales
    - psycho-social functioning
    - attention
    - cognition
    - language and communication
    - gross motor and fine motor skills

2. Physical examination, including hearing and vision screening

3. Parental counseling
    - Analysis on the child's developmental profile
    - Counseling on behaviour management and parenting skills
    - Counseling on developmental intervention
    - Recommendation on specific treatment / therapy

4. Referral for training services

5. Recommend medical investigations if necessary

6. Provide necessary medication(s)

Session duration
60 to 90 minutes, depending on age and problem


Minimally Invasive Paediatric Surgery Unit
Consultation (by appointment) is provided by Paediatric Surgeons.

Paediatric Ward
The Paediatric Ward of the Hospital serves newborn babies and children below the age of 14. We provide professional and tender loving care for paediatric patients with medical and orthopaedic conditions to speed up their recovery and shorten their hospital stay. (Click here for details.)
