The Central Clinic was opened in 2007 with convenient location and pleasant decoration to serve patients in Central district. The Centre's computers are connected to the Hospital's mainframe, facilitating patient's data transfer for quick retrieval. Patients in need of referrals to the Hospital can make all necessary arrangements at the Centre and receive further treatments at the Hospital as scheduled.




Family Medicine and Primary Care Centre
The establishment of the Clinic was considered a timely response to the rising demand for the family medicine services at the Hospital. Patients who usually come to the Outpatient Department at the Hospital now have the option to receive one-stop, high-quality services at our new Family Medicine & Primary Care Centre at our Central Clinic. Specialists in Family Medicine will be stationed there to offer medical consultations. With services just as exceptional as one may receive at the Hospital, the Clinic will further promote the family medicine by gaining wider public acceptance and recognition.

Eye Centre
Marking another milestone of the Central Clinic, the Eye Centre was opened in early 2008. Stationed with a professional team of ophthalmologists, optometrists and registered nurses, the Centre provides general ophthalmology services like consultation, LASIK screening and full cataract screening.

The Centre has 3 consultation rooms for general consultation and simple operations, e.g. nasolacrimal duct probing. There are also 4 optometrist's rooms and 4 diagnostic rooms, where Ocuscan and IOL Master are provided to measure the length of eyeball for cataract assessment. Oculyzer is also available for pre-LASIK evaluation and corneal disease diagnosis. While waiting at the well-lit, spacious lounge, patients can surf the net, watch television and read all pamphlets on eye diseases and treatments.

Clinical Health Psychology Centre
The Centre provides comprehensive clinical psychology services to people of all ages, ranging from professional assessments, psychological treatments and interventions. Administered by our clinical health psychologist, the services cover a wide range of psychological issues and adjustment difficulties, dealing with problems like stress, anxiety, emotions, interpersonal relationship and illness-related distress so as to enhance one's quality of life.
