General Information

The Department of Pathology of the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital is accredited as a Provider of Continuing Professional Development Programme (CPD) by the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board from 1st January 2005 to 31st December 2007.

The Clinical Pathology Laboratory of the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital has over the years accumulated much experience in running Continuing Professional Development programmes for registered medical laboratory technologists.

Programme activities are publicised on the Hospital web page. Registration for each programme can be made by e-mail or fax. No registration fee is required for CPD programmes.

On the day of seminar, each participant is required to sign an attendance sheet upon arrival. To confirm successful completion of the programme, a participation code number will be generated at the end of each seminar. Please take note of the code and write it down on the attendance sheet with your signature before you leave. No credit point will be given without the participation code on the attendance sheet.

Annual summary reports of earned CPD credit point(s) and attendance certificates will be issued to participants on request at a charge of HK$20 per copy. Please keep the summary report for evidence of attendance.

Programme material can be accessed from the web page one week after the seminar is held. All the programme material is subject to copyright protection.

The Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital Continuing Professional Development Committee reserves the right to change or modify the terms and conditions. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital Continuing Professional Development Committee shall be final.
